NYC Gay Pride Week 2011
This year, in anticipation of the passage of a new law legalizingsame sex marriage in New York State, extra special celebrations kicked off in New York on Saturday, June 18, with the annual rally at Central Park's Summerstage at 72nd Street & 5th Avenue beginning at 4PM.
Next followed the annual "Rapture on the River: A Women's Dance" scheduled for Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 13th Street on the Hudson River, followed by the BIG EVENT on Sunday with a parade down Fifth Avenue beginning at noon on June 26, 2011 — marching from 36th Street and heading south to Christopher Street in Greenwich Village. http://www.chiff.com/articles/gay-pride-parade.htm
